under tents, mud huts
beneath skyscrapers
in parks, in dreams
sometimes with just the wind to warn them
or a shadow against a wall
or a whisper
amidst the tumultuous thunder of war
those intent on peace
will not hide forever

I wrote a part of this little poem as a contributor to a World Poetry Day peace poem where I was responding to the lines above it that someone ele had written. Lines from 47 poets were included in the poem here http://angelajanegraceblog.com/2012/03/24/world-peace-poem-by-47-poets-for-the-un-world-poetry-day/
